Music on the Bow

Bring your friends and family to enjoy some good music with some good people. Each month, Trout Lake Community Centre is hosting Music on the Bow that features local artists. The event is free of charge and front row seats are available!

Easter Bunny Party

Bring the whole family and have fun making Easter Art & Craft, a visit from the Easter Bunny, playing with the Parent and Tot Gym Equipment and joining us for our Easter Egg Hunt. 2yrs and under free.

Ready, Set, Learn Event

As part of a provincial initiative, Trout Lake Community Centre and various community organizations/schools are hosting a fun event for pre-kindergarten aged kids from 3-5 years old to help start them on their journey of life-long learning and introduce them to school in a fun way. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Please pre-register.

Piano and Harp Recital

Join us for a recital of piano and harp students of teachers Roisin Adams and Elisa Thorn. Students of all ages and levels will perform, and perhaps will inspire you to pursue your own musical journey! Free but please pre-register.

Artisan Pottery Sale

Enjoy live music, hand crafted pottery from the Trout Lake Pottery Club. Enjoy delicious home baking from the TLCC Seniors and beautiful hand knitting and quilts by the TLCC Knitting and Quilting Group.

Dano Korean Festival

The 5th day of the 5th month of the lunar Korean calendar is Dano and it is the day of opening summer! It is at the end of the sowing season and in the traditional Korean agricultural society, it was a festival for people to pray for a good harvest, peace and prosperity, and to develop communal spirit by enjoying music, dance and games together Enjoy live performances, songs, dances and traditional food. At TLCC we will celebrate with traditional performances, Korean demonstrations, taste traditional food & BBQ (food is not free) and Korean crafts for the kids. Please pre-register.

Trout Lake Photo Contest 2017

Theme: Sports In The Park or at the Centre
Prizes are a $50 gift certificate to community centre programs for each of the top 4 winners. Cards will be produced with the winning designs and photos will be displayed in the centre as well as in the community centre brochure.

  • Formats for submission – submit by email in j-peg mail format to
  • Prizes – $50 gift certificate for community centre programs for each of the top 4 winners and a package of the photo cards.
  • Selection will be by a local photographer and Grandview Community Centre Association board members.
  • Permissions – winners will be asked to sign a rights agreement allowing for use of the image for the photo cards which may be sold by the centre, and for in centre use and display. Any other use will be negotiated.
  • Winners will be announced at an event in the late Fall 2017
  • Please have a waiver consent form of the person you photographed approving the photo
