DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the long and fascinating history of Clark Park!\nEveryone is invited to join friends and neighbours at the installation of two new signs in Clark Park! \nThe signs take a deeper look at Vancouver’s second oldest park\, one focuses on the human history of the park\, the other invites you to learn more about the park’s big trees. \nCreated by the community\, funded by the Park Board Neighbourhood Matching Fund and sponsored by the Trout Lake Community Centre Association. \n\nAaron Chapman\, author of The Last Gang in Town\, and community ecologist David Tracey\, author of the Vancouver Tree Book\, will speak and lead short tours.\nDraws will be held for copies of each book along with music and refreshments!\n\nLocation: West of the upper playground off 14th Ave. \nRegistration preferred\, but not required: \nvanrec.ca \nActivity # 399834
