Browse our available rental options to find the best space for your gathering! All reservations are booked on a first-come-first-served basis. Visits for viewing our spaces in-person are welcome at any time, but please call ahead. Any of our reception staff will be happy to assist you with checking room availability. Deposits required for all room rentals (except gymnasium).

Note: Balloons of ALL TYPES are NOT allowed in any of our rentals.

Rental Rates

Compare the rates of room rentals in the chart below. Wedding rates are subject to a 10% increase and $500 damage deposit is required. Film/ Movie rates apply, please contact us via email for rates. GST is not applicable to room, staffing and equipment charges.

Staff charges 

All rentals are subject to staffing fees of $25/hr per staff, minimum 2 hours. The number of staff required are at the discretion of the Rental Coordinator, and dependent on scope of rental. 

Damage deposit

We require a damage deposit for all functions; fee amount is dependent on scope of rental ($25-$300)

SOCAN & ReSound

When playing music at your event, the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) fees apply. This is required to account for copyright fees. Rates vary depending on the scope of rental.

Non Profits and Commercial Use

  • Discounts available for not-for-profit organizations, please inquire
  • Commercial events, filming and sports leagues are subject to commercial rates, please inquire

Rental FAQs

Before you reach out, review the frequently asked questions about rentals below!

All groups are responsible for their own set up, take down and basic clean up of the rented space. The assigned rental staff will assist with set up of additional rented equipment when requested.

As of February 2026, paid parking is in effect. However, community centre patrons are eligible for three hours of free parking per day, through signing in at one of the kiosks inside the centre. Additional time is available for purchase by text or app at $3.50/hr.

There is a loading zone next to the entrance of the centre for quick drop offs.

We accept bookings that occur during our regular hours of operation up to three months in advance, and accept after hours bookings up to one year in advance.

Based on availability and the room reserved, we can provide at no additional cost:

  • Furniture: 6 ft x 2.5 ft tables, chairs
  • Audio/visual: portable sound system with wireless microphone
  • Other: podium, flip charts, coffee/hot water urns (we do not provide kitchen utensils)

Based on availability and the room reserved, we can provide at costs listed:

  • Furniture: 5 ft round tables ($9 per table)
  • Audio/visual: LCD projector and screen ($50)

You can gain access at the start time on your permit. When booking, your reservation must include set up and clean up times.

Catering and food services are welcome; however, no cooking of food is permitted on site. The facility has a small kitchen that is shared by all users, but may be reserved for exclusive use. The kitchen is suitable for warming, preparing and staging food service.

Events that are booked by a provincially or federally registered non-profit are eligible for a 25% discount on the posted rental rates.

Deposits will be refunded less any outstanding charges within thirty (30) days of the end of the rental.

SOCAN fees (music royalty fees) are applied if pre-recorded music is played and if dancing is involved as a flat fee that ranges from $20.56 to $59.17. Each rental also requires a staff to oversee the event. The staffing charge is $25/hour, including 15 minutes before and after the event to check in with the rental groups. A second staff is required if alcohol is being served at your event.

All user groups playing sports will be required to obtain a sports insurance at least (1) week prior to the start of the event.

Alcohol can be served at your event if a special occasion license is obtained from the Liquor Licensing Branch of BC. To ensure safety, you will also be responsible to pay for a second rental staff. A copy of your approved license must be provided to the centre at least one week prior to the event and be displayed on the day of.

Cancellations for a refund must be done at least 30 days prior to the start of the event. There will be no refunds beyond this point in time.

Balloons are single use garbage and create an environmental hazard. 

Serious environmental consequences including wildlife harm, plastic pollution, infrastructure damage, and entanglement risks come from improper or accidental balloon releases. 

This ban reflects our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint and encouraging more sustainable choices.

Instead of a single-use celebratory item, choose sustainable or reusable alternatives such as light-based displays, living decor, or reusable/recycled materials.
