NEW changes coming to the Trout Lake Recreation Guides:
The Spring and Summer guides will now be combined into ONE brochure.
This change is made in alignment with the new launch of the City Wide Day Camp Registration process, Starting 2026, all Vancouver community centres will share one city-wide registration date for ALL camps. There will no longer be separate dates for each centre.

Save the date: Spring/Summer program registration at Trout Lake begins on Thursday, March 12th
- Older Adults registration starts at 10 a.m.
- All Ages registration starts at 7 p.m.
City Wide Day Camp Registration: Wednesday, April 8, 2026
- Online & In-Person on at 7 p.m.
- By Phone: Thursday, April 9 at 10 a.m.

Notice of Fitness Centre Closure and Reduced Hours
Our fitness centre will be CLOSED February 9–20 for upgrades. Hours will be REDUCED from February 21st through April 3rd.
Hours will be reduced from February 21st through April 3rd as follows
- Mon–Fri: 9:00 a.m.–9:45 p.m.
- Sat–Sun: 8:00 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
Lockers, washrooms, and cubbies WILL NOT be available during this period. Please use amenities downstairs in the centre.
REDUCED HOURS
Hours will be REDUCED from February 21st through April 3rd* as follows. If all goes as planned, regular hours will resume on April 4th.
- Mon–Fri: 9:00 a.m.–9:45 p.m.
- Sat–Sun: 8:00 a.m.–4:45 p.m.

Trout Lake Preschool
Trout Lake Preschool has been a resource for families in the neighbourhood for over 40 years! Our wonderful team are certified Early Childhood Educators.
Adaptive Programs
Did you know we have some excellent adaptive programs? Check them out via the Programs menu. We are keen to make our centre fully inclusive and welcome proposals for new offerings (find the webform for that in the Get Involved menu).

Happy 10th (Plus) Anniversary, Trout Lake Community Centre!
February 12, 2022 was the 10th Anniversary of the opening of Trout Lake’s current gorgeous facility. Celebrating was delayed due to the pandemic but Family Day 2023 included a public premiere of a very special project spearheaded by Trout Lake Community Centre Association’s Arts Committee to mark the milestone.
Happy 10th (Plus) Anniversary, Trout Lake Community Centre is a film made to honour the community volunteers, recreation staff, and officials whose combined spirit brought a dream to fruition.
