Alex Lam is a graduate of Emily Carr University (BFA in visual art) as well as of University of Warwick, United Kingdom (MA and BED in arts education. He has over twenty-five years experience in teaching Art from school aged children to youth, adults and seniors in different settings including schools, home schools, art camps and community centers. He had published several students’ art albums and color books including “Images”, “Butterfly Transformation”, “Color Strings” and “My lighthouse” in the past ten years. He set up his own studio called ACTStudio in 2009. His educational vision is to help students to Appreciate the beauty
of the world, develop their gift of Creativity, and explore the skills of Transformation by using different media.
