Lesley Maranhao — Zumba

Lesley Maranhao was born a dancer and she has been dancing since little. she started on the street of Brazil dancing the carnaval . In her teens she did capoeira and learned many Brazilian dances. After that she decided to open her own Brazilian dance group and they have performed in many festivals, weddings, shows etc.

After joining a Zumba class and enjoying it, she decided to get her Zumba certification and started teaching . She has been teaching Zumba and Zumba toning for 17 years!

But Lesley wanted more and her passion for dance lead her to try other styles such as soca , dance hall , afrobeats and female dancehall, reggaeton . She Ran into socavancouverexperience and loved the energy and vibe, so decided to join their crew. She loves to travel to learn new dances and come back to teach her students.
