Make a Difference!

Trout Lake Community Centre Association (TLCCA) is a registered charity that was first incorporated as a non-profit society in 1956. The Association was instrumental in advocating to have the original Centre built in 1963 and has worked closely with the Park Board ever since.

Our role lies in shaping programming, hiring instructors, raising funds and accessing grants, developing policy, and advocating for our parks. In this way we are ensuring that decisions affecting the community are made at the grassroots level.

The revenue generated through programs and rentals stays in our community and is invested in family activities, special events, facility enhancements, park programs and artist residencies, among other things.

Your donations go directly towards supporting the work we do, and we are truly grateful for your generosity.

Learn about Membership

Are you a member of the Trout Lake Community Centre Association (TLCCA)?

As per the Trout Lake Community Centre Association’s bylaws, anyone over the age of 18 who registers for Association* programs and activities at the Centre will automatically become a member unless they choose to ‘opt out’/decline membership when registering.

In addition, adult community members can specifically request no cost CCA membership with assistance of Trout Lake Community Center staff.

Membership lasts until 12 months from the date the person

  • becomes a member OR
  • renews their membership when registering for another program (and not opting out).

*Most programs/events except the Fitness Centre and rink programs.

Your membership gives you a voice in shaping programs and services that reflect our community’s needs. Members are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting, vote for Board representatives, and even join committees.

It’s an easy, meaningful way to stay involved and informed about what’s happening at the centre.

Volunteer with us!

From events and programs to leadership roles, there’s a place for everyone to lend a hand and make a meaningful impact at our centre. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, gain new experience, and make a lasting difference! All while having fun and supporting your local community.
