Trout Lake Preschool registration is 9:00 a.m. on August 24th

Trout Lake Community Centre Association (TLCCA) is working hard to get our Preschool reactivated! We have confirmed registration among our returning families and our Park Board partners have set up online registration for the remaining spots in the program.

Today’s announcement is to give interested families a signal to stay tuned for details about the August 24, 2020 registration. If you do not yet have an online registration account, get prepared by setting one up at recreation.vancouver.ca this week!

Some general info

Here are a few details for those with questions about dates and health and safety related to COVID-19.

  • We plan to hold orientation (by video) on September 8 (3-year-olds) and September 9 (4-year-olds), with gradual entry for children beginning on September 10, 2020.
  • In terms of COVID-19 health and safety, our Park Board partners have prepared a robust Occupational Health and Safety risk assessment and safety plan and are assisting the TLVCCA with protocols. Our regular Preschool Parent Handbook will be supplemented with all the details parents need.
  • All classes will be divided into two “pods” and these will take turns being indoors and out, with santization taking place twice daily (and more).

Our teachers are super excited and very much looking forward to seeing Trout Lake’s tiny community members back!
