Plant knowledge workshop with Lori Snyder, Indigenous Métis Herbalist and Educator

It can be easy to forget about the wealth of food and medicines that grows all around us. Come out and learn about edible and medicinal plants that call our region home.
Indigenous herbalist and educator Lori Snyder will explore some of the plants coming into season including berries, and yarrow etc. which are growing in our medicine wheel at the John Hendry Park.
Through these teachings we reconnect with our forgotten friends, and they take on a new life and offer a wealth of untapped nutritional and medicinal resources. Help restore the garden for the growing month by planting and clearing!
