A typical day
A typical day at Trout Lake Preschool begins with a Free Play session, where children can choose from various play centres.
After a healthy snack, children participate in Circle Time, where they play games, share ideas, listen to exciting stories and learn new songs. Of course there’s also time to play outdoors in the fresh air in the Preschool’s awesome gated playground that was fabulously updated in 2019!
At Trout Lake Preschool we feel that it is important for the children to get involved with the materials that we are using. This “hands-on” approach will often be a bit messy. We encourage the children to come dressed in comfortable play clothes that they can get dirty!
Health and safety
Parents can be assured that COVID-19 procedures will be in accordance to Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) licensing regulations and physical distancing will be managed according to health guidance from the Ministry of Health and the BC Centre for Disease Control.
Following registration, parents will receive detailed guidance, if necessary, as part of the Preschool Parent Handbook.
