Mother’s Day Traditional Pow Wow

We are honoured to be providing space for the Mother’s Day Traditional Pow Wow. This three-day event from May 9 to May 11, 2025 is hosted by the Metro Vancouver Aboriginal Executive Council. https://www.mvaec.ca/
This year’s dancing and drumming will take place outside on the South-West Baseball diamond of John Hendry Park. There will be a vendor village, Elder room, and meal service inside the community centre.
This event takes place on the traditional and unceded Coast Salish territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓ əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and sə̓ lílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. It is free for all ages, no registration required.
