Trout Lake Community Centre Association (TLCCA) is working hard to get our Preschool reactivated! We have confirmed registration among our returning families and our Park Board partners have set up online registration for the remaining spots in the program.
As you may have heard on the news recently, starting this week some Vancouver community centres will begin offering some outdoor rec programs. We are thrilled that Trout Lake is indeed one of them!
We are pleased to announce that, with the Vancouver Park Board, the Trout Lake Community Centre Association (TLCCA) will be running an outdoor day camp this summer. The seven weeks of camp will begin on July 20.

While the process of reopening recreation city-wide is only just beginning, and we have no details yet to share, the Trout Lake Community Centre Association wanted to do what we could to keep our community connected and active!
Our Board of Directors and staff teams want to do our part when it comes to community building and climate action. We founded and co-designed an initiative called “Communities for Climate Hope” that identifies ways in which we can engage, educate, and empower patrons on environmental conservation, sustainable lifestyles, and climate action.
As the COVID-19 pandemic impacts communities across Canada and the globe, precautionary measures are being implemented at our much loved Trout Lake Community Centre. The health and well-being of Centre patrons, partners, and employees is our top priority.
Trout Lake Community Centre Association, in partnership with Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation, are closely following the events regarding COVID-19. We are reassured that Vancouver Emergency Management Agency (VEMA) is working diligently with partners, including Vancouver Coastal Health, and leading the provincial response to COVID-19.
As the next step in their public engagement process, the Vancouver Park Board invites the public to review the first draft of the master plan.
